Preparing for the weekly feeding and outreach program for the children.
After the cooking comes the packing! The hands of the workers of Cathedral of Praise Church literally fly. They are quick, clean, and efficient as two thousand hot meals are packed into boxes of 50 each, ready for delivery to the various buildings.
With the newly built Gerard Chapman Kitchen located in one of Manila's poorest neighbourhoods, the children can continue to receive their daily meal and enjoy a time of song and Bible stories before they eat. "We are changing the life of a child who could one day change our nation," comments Beverley Sumrall of the feeding programs that take place for 100 children each day.
Sunday Line is proud to partner with Pastors Dave and Bev Sumrall and the Cathedral of Praise as they seek to bring hope and opportunity to some of the very poorest children. Your gift to help in this important work is truly appreciated.
