FIRST WATOTO UNIVERSITY GRAD

Jessica - first Watoto University Grad
Jessica - first Watoto University Grad

Jessica was the very first child rescued by Watoto in 1994. Found at only 18 months old, Jessica has grown into a strong and lovely 22-year old. "When I tell my story, most people see it as a sad story. But for me, it was God's first step to lifting me up. My entire life has been at Watoto. My mom, my friends, everyone I love is here. Everything I have, I got from Watoto. My first shoes, my first school. This graduation is not just a graduation to me. This is the first of the steps we are taking as graduates to be the citizens we have been raised to be."

Jessica graduated with a degree in Business Administration. Watoto Child Care has rescued more than 4,000 children since Jessica. This has been possible because of the faithful support of many. Thank you for taking the journey with us as Sunday Line helps to "Care for Children Around the World."

WATOTO SPONSORED FAMILY

13 year old Haruna writes: I greet you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Here in Uganda we are in the rainy season and the farmers are happy because their crops are growing well and healthy. This term I am in Grade Five. God has helped me with wisdom and understanding. I love Social Studies. We learn about Pre-Colonial Uganda and how Uganda became a nation. I love playing soccer with my friends.

11 year old Proscovia writes: Do you know that our current Head of State has ruled for 30 years? Wow, that is amazing! We need prayers to have peaceful elections. Thank you so much for your generosity, love, support and prayers to help and rescue my life.
